Hi, I am new to this forum, in fact, any forum; so please bear with me. I have two HF rigs: Yaesu FT - 991 and a Kenwood TS-590. I have had no problem linking the auto-detect with the Yaesu. However, it is a different matter with the Kenwood. This was due to a compatibility problem. But then a few days ago, to my delight, v.3.22 was released. With great anticipation I uploaded and installed the firmware. In addition, I installed the latest firmware for the Kenwood. Linked the 2 items together; no joy! I must be doing something wrong - please help? PS I have just e-mailed Cireo a few minutes ago before discovering this forum. However, I believe they are closed for the weekend. One of you may be able to help.

Hi Robert.
Apologies for the delay in replying, I have had a little time away from the radio.
I have found the solution to the problem, or at least my problem. My problem was I was using a DB9 to DB9 RS232 Null Modem cable. I ordered a DB9 to DB9 RS232 "Straight" cable which arrived today and alas I have the loop operating in full auto with the Kenwood.
This is the lead I purchased:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2m-RS232-Serial-9-PIN-Cable-DB9-Female-Female-DB9F-2-Metre-STRAIGHT-Lead-F-F/271741860819?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Just wish the use of a straight cable was mentioned in the manual.
