I received the Baby loop last week and assembled it. After setting it up a few feet away from the desk I decided to connect it and run some tests to give it a shake down. It worked perfectly considering it was only a few feet away from my radio desk and then it just seemed to die with no error messages or anything. The loop is "open" all the way and will not move at all. When manually entering a frequency it goes thru the normal message of tuning but does nothing else, no motor sound or anything. Any advice to get me going in the right direction?

I can appreciate your enthusiasm in erecting your loop inside and wanting to give it a test run however my first thought would be that it is way too close to everything. Without the manual in front of me If I remember correctly if does need around 2 metres clear.
Maybe you can move it all outside or at least within the recommended distance away and give it another shot.
You could operate the loop without it being connected to the ATU by following a method that is on a different post on the forum and with a 24V power supply rated no more than 1.0A and in the first instance observe the wiring polarity step the motor manually.
I had a fault with my loop when it was supplied and to test whether the loop motor was at fault I found a redundant AC adaptor rated at 15v 500mA and used this to confirm that the motor was okay making the loop halves go fully each way.
